Tendence is the sister fair of Ambiente, held in the summer as a preparation for the Christmas market. As Nicolette Naumann, Vice President Ambiente and Tendence explained on the online press conference on May 13,
“the national and international consumer goods market needs and demands Tendence – this is where the trade puts together its new assortment; this is where it discovers innovations, trends and design; and this is where the entire sector meets. All these factors make Tendence an indispensable fixture on the European fair and exhibition landscape”
Tendence 2013 will be held in four days, Saturday to Tuesday, covering a wide spectrum of articles in six halls: "Living" with ne tableware and household collections and "Giving" with gift articles and jewelry. Registrations have already been received from renowned companies such as ASA Selection, Blomus, Boltze, Drescher, Exotica Cor Mulder, Fink, Henry Dean, Hoff Interieur, Kare Design, Mono/Seibel Designpartner, Reisenthel, Stelton, Top Team and Zoeppritz.
Two new events will be held concurrently with Tendence 2013:
During Tendence 2013, a series of events will be held on specific aspects of product design and marketing: For example, in the Carat section, visitors will find a new edition of ‘Carat! On Stage’ with lectures covering a variety of topics. The Talents promotional program once again will offer to young designers the opportunity to present their prototypes to an international audience and the ‘Window Dressing Live’ workshop will give valuable tips on the subject of visual merchandising.
All in all, Tendence 2013 promises to offer exciting highlights in the consumer goods design and marketing.
